Training and Study Support

The Library and Learning Resources Centre offers all students training and study support on how to use the NCL One App and the Virtual Learning Environment. Click on each of the logos below to access the training and overview videos. We also support students who would like to improve their IT skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook (to send and receive emails via your student account). Please visit any of our libraries and speak to a member of the team.

Library Locations

Gants Hill

Commercial House, 406-410 Eastern Avenue Ilford, Essex, IG2 6NQ, UK

Our Gants Hill campus library is in the basement or lower ground floor. The library has over 25 study spaces with computers for students to carry out research. There is also a large group study area for students to sit and discuss group work designed to give students the comfort and concentration they need. Currently our largest library, students have access to books and publications to support their learning.

Ilford

4th Floor Olympic House, 28-42 Clements Road Ilford, Essex, IG1 1BA, London UK

The Ilford campus library is located on the second floor of Olympic House. There are study spaces available for students to do coursework. The library is adjacent to the IT Lab which houses over 24 desktop computers. Within the library area, there are 8 designated cubicle spaces for students which are equipped with desktop computers. The library also has a small group study area where there is a comfortable sofa available for students to discuss group work, hold meetings or read for pleasure.

Broadstairs

Northwood Road, Broadstairs, CT10 2RZ, UK

Our Broadstairs campus library is located on the first floor of the Allen Building. It is adjacent to the IT Lab where there are 16 computers available for students to study and do coursework or enjoy some leisure time. Other amenities include a comfortable sofa making it easy for students to do group work or relax, unwind and read for pleasure.
